3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution is a liquid which works as a mild disinfectant and deodorant. It’s a gentle solution, which disinfects by releasing oxygen when it comes into contact with skin or other bodily tissues, killing bacteria in the process. It’s perfect to use as a skin disinfectant or as a mouthwash or gargle.
Hydrogen Peroxide 9%
To use as a skin disinfectant, first, soak some cotton wool in this solution. Then, use the cotton wool to dress or clean your wound as required.
To use as a mouthwash or gargle, first dilute a portion of this solution with twice the amount of water, e.g. 5ml of hydrogen peroxide with 10ml of water. Gargle or rinse the mouth with this solution for 2 – 3 minutes, spit the solution out and do not swallow. Repeat up to 3 times a day, as necessary.On normal skin

3% Hydrogen Peroxide should not be used as a mouthwash by children under the age of 12 but can be used as a disinfectant by people of any age. Do not use this product if you are allergic to hydrogen peroxide or any of the other listed ingredients.
3% Hydrogen Peroxide can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. These side effects include:
Irritating burns on skin or other soft tissues, which may produce a white patch of tissue. The pain from this will usually pass within an hour
Temporary swelling of the tongue when this solution is used continually as a mouthwash

This disinfectant is both mild enough to use as a mouthwash or gargle for people over 12 years old, or as an effective way to disinfect minor cuts, wounds and skin ulcers on adults, children and the elderly. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should only use if advised by a doctor.

How to use Care Hydrogen Peroxide Solution 3% 10 Vols
Recommended dose and dosage schedule:
As a disinfectant use as required. Dress the wound with cotton wool soaked in the peroxide.
As a mouthwash or gargle dilute one part of the peroxide to two parts of water (e.g. 5ml of peroxide and 10ml of water). Rinse the mouth for two to three minutes. This may be repeated up to three times daily.
As a disinfectant, this product is suitable for use by adults, children and the elderly.
As a mouthwash or gargle, the product is suitable for use by adults, children over 12 years and the elderly. Due to the risk of swallowing it should only be used by younger children under the instruction of a doctor.
